Our Mission and Principles
Our mission is to help people navigate the complex and confusing immigration process. Choosing a lawyer is an incredibly important decision—yet most people have no idea how to go about doing it, and resources to guide them are scarce.
Immigration.USAttorneys.com is guided by two basic principles:
1. Focus on the needs of regular people.
Many of the resources available today were developed for people who are already Immigration professionals. ImmigrationLawyersNow.Org was created specifically to help people who know very little about the law and may have no experience choosing a lawyer.
2. Provide information, as well as guidance.
We believe that providing open access to information about immigration lawyers, coupled with guidance on how to use that information, is the best way to help people choose the right immigration lawyer. Information is empowering: the more people learn about immigration attorneys and how to select an immigration attorney, the more comfortable and confident they’ll feel seeking legal help, and we think this will benefit both immigration clients and immigration lawyers.
Bestimmigrationlawyers.org selects only the best immigration attorneys, so that people can choose the right immigration attorney. Immigration lawyer profiles contain helpful information including a lawyer’s experience, areas of practice, disciplinary history, and ratings from clients. Profile data comes from many sources, including state courts and bar associations, lawyer websites, and information provided by lawyers. By clicking on a state and then a county you will find the best immigration attorney in that area as chosen by us.
Information meets guidance in our effort to evaluate a lawyer’s background using a mathematical model that considers the information we know about an immigration lawyer. This information is shown in the lawyer’s website, including a lawyer’s years in practice, disciplinary history, professional achievements, and industry recognition, all factors that, in our opinion, are relevant to assessing an immigration lawyer’s qualifications.
We will continue to grow, so if you have ideas, suggestions, or even criticism for us, we’d love to hear from you. Feel free to send us feedback any time.
